Removal of phosphorous at constructed treatment wetlands

This Bachelor thesis deals with issues of the removal of phosphorus in constructed (treatment) wetland. The main purpose of this thesis is to make literature review with focus on different technology of the removal of phosphorus from small community waste water treatment plants and evaluate their appropriateness for usage in constructed (treatment) wetlands. Sub-chapters deal with the topic of constructed (treatment) wetlands with a focus on the removal of phosphorus in broader context. The result of this thesis is recommendation for specific technological solutions, that could be used in constructed (treatment) wetlands. Part of this thesis is practical example of the design of selected technology for the removal of phosphorus for a real constructed (treatment) wetland.

Machine for the recovery of road signs on roads

Object of this bachelor’s thesis is machine for the removing road signs on roads. Bachelor’s thesis involves background research with selection of similar machines on the market. Next part is focused on self design of the machine. Requirement of the design was simplicity of producing and high comfort for operator. This design is supported by calculations of basic parameters, V-belt transmission and strength check of shaft with tools.

Eliminator of dental calculus

Tato práce se zabývá návrhem ultrazvukového odstraňovače zubního kamene pracujícím na frekvenci 27 kHz s maximální intenzitou ultrazvuku 5W/cm2. Popisuje mechanismus vzniku zubního kamene, důsledky na zdraví a metody jeho odstraňování. Zaměřuje se na principy odstraňování s využitím ultrazvukového vlnění. Dále je sestaveno funkční a blokové schéma. Na základě těchto znalostí je proveden návrh a výpočet jednotlivých částí aplikátoru. Výkonové a napěťové poměry jsou vypočítány od aplikačního hrotu směrem ke generátoru. V neposlední řadě je popsán návrh obvodů buzení měniče i kontrolních obvodů. Schémata jsou doplněna výkresy desek plošných spojů a soupiskou součástek.

Methods and prospects of CCS from emissions of energy sources in ČR

With increasing frequency of problems caused by global climate change, the scientific community trying to find possible solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. One of the possible solutions of this problem is considered the system of separation, transportation and long-term storage of C02, called CCS - Carbon Capture and Storage. This work is a literature review issues of CCS in order to determine the possible use of CCS in the Czech republic. There is a basic system description of CCS, the possible environmental risks associated with it, and finall summarize of the prospects of deployment CCS technology in Czech republic.

Flood protection and reducing of flood damages in intensive agriculturally used landscape

The aim of this study was to analyze the Bechyňský stream with regard to the possible consequences of floods in this area. Furthermore, the removal of these consequences and propose new flood protection measures and recommendations. Finally, the work is a summary of the most suitable variant of flood protection. The work may help in future decision how to manage the flow of the Bechyňský stream and surroundings of it´s.

Vypracování Projektu problematiky odstraňování použitých žvýkaček pro MŽP v roce 2005 zahrnuje tyto součásti: Zpracování výsledků výzkumů spotřebitelů a důsledků jejich chování, Alternativy řešení této problematiky, Dodání a vyhodnocení zahraničních projektových dokumentací. Hlavní činností společnosti je produkce papírků na použité žvýkačky Pinkg, jejichž patent má chráněný ve 103 zemích. Papírky šetří životní prostředí a současně je lze používat jako vizitky, jako určitý druh reklamního nosiče.
